Why have you launched the Guidelines app?
As the use of mobile devices by healthcare professionals increases, we felt it was important to deliver Guidelines content in a convenient app format that would be easy for users to access on the move.
 
How do I access the Guidelines app?
Visit the iTunes App Store or Google Play to download the Guidelines app. The app will then appear as an icon on your mobile device.
 
On what devices can I download the Guidelines app?
The Guidelines app is available for iPhones, iPads, and all Android devices.
 
What content is available on the Guidelines app?
The Guidelines app contains all of the summaries that are in the Guidelines handbook and on the Guidelines.co.uk website, including every table, care pathway, and flowchart.
 
What additional features does the Guidelines app offer?
The Guidelines app allows you to access all of the Guidelines content while on the move. Additionally you can mark guideline summaries as favourites, make notes against a summary, search for a summary, and access the content without an internet connection.

All the content on the app is saved to your device meaning that after the initial content download an internet connection is not required.

How much does the Guidelines app cost?
If you are a UK registered healthcare professional and you have an Guidelines.co.uk account you can use the Guidelines app for free by entering your email address and Guidelines.co.uk password. Registration for Guidelines.co.uk is free to UK registered healthcare professionals. If you are not a UK registered healthcare professional you will need to pay to access the content. A one-off content purchase costs £9.99, a 6-month subscription costs £24.99, and a 12-month subscription costs £44.99.
 
I am a UK registered healthcare professional, how do I access the Guidelines app content for free?
  1. Download the Guidelines app from either the iTunes App Store or Google Play.
  2. If you already have an Guidelines.co.uk account simply enter your email address and Guidelines.co.uk password to gain access to all of the content on the Guidelines app.
  3. If you have forgotten your Guidelines.co.uk password you can reset it here.
  4. If you do not have an Guidelines.co.uk account, register here. Once you have registered, use your Guidelines.co.uk log in details to access the content on the Guidelines app.
 
How do I register for Guidelines.co.uk?

How do I purchase the Guidelines app content?
If you are not a UK registered healthcare professional you will need to pay for a subscription to the Guidelines app. Simply download the app, and you will be able to purchase the content from the app directly.
 
What will a one-off purchase of the Guidelines app entitle me to?
A one-off purchase will give you access to the content of the current version of the Guidelines app. You will have access to this content for an unlimited amount of time; however, if the app is then deleted and reinstalled, access to the content may be lost if newer content has been published. You will be notified when an update is available and be given the option to purchase it.
 
What does a 6- or 12-month subscription of the Guidelines app entitle me to?
Buying a subscription to the Guidelines app will mean that you can access the current content of the Guidelines app; any updates published during the subscription period will also be included. You will be notified when an update is available and be prompted to update.
 
Do I still have to pay if I already have a print subscription?
Print subscriptions to Guidelines do not include access to the Guidelines app. Access to the Guidelines app would need to be purchased separately.
 
How often is the Guidelines app updated?
The Guidelines app is updated every month, with new guideline summaries and/or updates to existing guideline summaries.
 
How do I cancel my subscription to the Guidelines app?
